UMBRELLA
UMBRELLA: The Utrecht cohort for Multiple Breast cancer intErvention studies and Long-term evaLuAtion (UMBRELLA) is a national multicenter prospective cohort study of individuals diagnosed with non-metastatic breast cancer and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). The UMBRELLA cohort is designed with the Trials within Cohorts (TwiCs) design. The TwiCs design facilitates efficient and pragmatic randomized evaluation of new innovative treatments in routine care. UMBRELLA collects patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and clinical data at regular time intervals during a follow-up time of ten years.
