Background
Sharminii is a PhD candidate at the Division of Imaging and Oncology, University Medical Centre Utrecht. Her research interests focus on breast cancer, non-communicable/chronic diseases, and the emerging field of cardio-oncology, related to the European Union funded project: the ARTILLERY consortium, artificial intelligence for early detection of non-communicable disease risk in people with breast cancer.Prior to this, she attained a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Utrecht and graduated as a medical doctor from the International Medical University, Malaysia in 2019. She is driven, organised, and always open to learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys screening papers for MedRxiv and connecting with people.
