Background
Sandjiv Mahes is a medical doctor and is in his first year of his PhD at the UMC Utrecht. The focus of his PhD-trajectory is on artificial intelligence in pancreatic surgery. His research aims to develop dynamic detection and prediction AI models for postoperative complications and infection risks in patients undergoing pancreatic resections.
