Background Renée Hovenier holds a bachelor’s and masters’ degree in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente (2017 and 2021). In 2022, she started her PhD at the UMC Utrecht, focusing on the treatment of painful bone metastases using radiotherapy (PRESENT+ cohort) and MR-HIFU (international FURTHER study).
