Background
Nikita Jorritsma is a medical doctor and currently a second-year PhD candidate specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery and radiotherapy. His research focuses on improving outcomes for patients with pancreatic cancer who are not eligible for surgery and on enhancing the recognition and treatment of complications following pancreatic and liver surgery. Additionally, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Epidemiology at Utrecht University to deepen his expertise in clinical research and data analysis.
